Langtang Region Trekking commences from Syabrubesi, leading into the traditional Sherpa villages and into the high, gentle Langtang valley before emptying into the raging Bhote Koshi River, through a narrow sully at the west end of the valley, whereas other major rivers of Nepal flow from the south of Tibet cutting through the Himalayan chain is impressive. Next we make our way through oak and rhododendron forests and carefully cross the glacial moraine on our way to the Tamang village of Langtang. Moving ahead a bit further we encounter the valley of Kyanjing Gompa, which is an enduring ascend and we acclimatize and take a look around the traditional cheese factory. The following day we reach out to another significant landmark destination of Nubamatang, lapped in the hidden valley, on our way up to view the glaciers, a final frontier which marks the gateway to Tibet, and Sing gompa at the holy Gosaikunda Lake. We then prepare to cross the Laurebinayak pass leaving the Langtang Region behind and head towards Helambu Valley and then back to Kathmandu.
