The terms and conditions mentioned below contain the important information. While booking the trip, it is considered as you have accepted the terms and conditions. The acceptance of terms and conditions will legally bind you and Mountain Safari Pvt. Ltd. Company in a contract relating the services provided by us. Therefore it is very important that you read and understand them carefully.
The booking is accepted when you receive the confirmation invoice or email from the company.
While booking your trekking and tour trips in Nepal, you will have to make a non-refundable deposit of 30% of trip cost at time of booking. The remaining amount can be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu before heading for the trip. The non- refundable deposit should be sent to the company’s account. Please contact our representative if you have any queries regarding the booking and payment procedures.
These all the deposits are required per person per trip. A bank service charge should be paid during the time of deposit. We will also accept the payment from the credit cards once you fill up the booking form. The accepted credit cards are either Visa or Master Card only and extra processing fees will be charged by the bank.
The Company reserves the right to cancel your trip if the full amount is not paid within time period. However, company will accept last minute booking 10 days prior the trip departure dates if full amount of the trip is cleared.
You must inform before 20days prior to trip departure in a written form with the cancellation reason and details. Cancellation will be valid after receiving your cancellation documentation. The Trip shall then be termed as cancelled and the cancellation charge of 30% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid.If informed after 20 days, no amount whatsoever will be refunded. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.
Before booking any of the trip make sure you hold the passport with at least 6 months of validity. Nepali Visas are granted at Nepali embassies and consultants abroad or on-arrival visas can be granted upon your arrival on major entry points of Nepal especially at Tribhuvan International Airport. Nepali visa costs should be beared by the clients themselves.
Every trekking and tour trips of the company require the certain level of fitness and good health conditions. The client must inform in the written form if there is any illness, mental or physical conditions that may affect during the trip. Failure of providing that information may result the client being refused to travel. If any special arrangements are to be done then you must notify the company prior and we will arrange the special requests if possible.
As mentioned in travel insurance page, Travel Insurance is compulsory for all of our clients. It will not only give peace to our mind but it will also save you from bearing extra expenses like cancellation fees, medical expenses, rescue and evacuation costs and baggage safety. Understanding the trip itinerary by the client and the travel insurance company is essential before choosing the right travel insurance policy.
If you want to make any changes or amendments regarding the trip then you must inform the company 25 days prior your trip departure date. Extra fees might occur while arranging with other parties like hotels, airlines and teahouses.
The company has right to amend the existing terms and conditions without notification. So, the clients are requested to be updated with current terms and conditions that will bind client and the company in the valid legal contract.
